Structure of the School Day

School Hours

The school operates from 9:00am to 3:55pm Monday to Thursday and from 9:00am to 1.15pm on a Friday.

School commences with registration for each class with their respective Form Tutors.

Classes begin at 9:00am and there are six classes of 59/60 minutes duration during the school day.

Breaktime is: 10.42am to 10.57am for second years, fifth years, LCA5 and TY while the remaining students have their break from 11:02am to 11:17am.

Lunchtime for all students is: 1:15pm to 1:55pm.

First year students remain in school at all times during break and lunchtime.

Students from second to sixth year are permitted to leave the school at lunchtime as long as they have a lunch indemnity form signed by their parents, and returned to the school. Students who are in breach of the school's Code of Behaviour, who misbehave while out of the school, or who are late returning to school, may have this privilege withdrawn by the school management.
